American Express Travelers Cheques for Members

BTFCU Members can purchase standard American Express Travelers Cheques with no fees. Come to the credit union office for more details.
Cheques for Two, the American Express Travelers Cheques which allow either of two signatures to cash them, can be purchased as well. These cheques carry a service charge of one-half percent of the face value of the cheque.
Gift Cheques, which allows a designated someone (other than the cheque purchaser) to cash the check, can be purchased for the face value of the cheque plus a $2.50 charge per cheque.

American Express Travelers Cheques are a convenient means of combinig financial liquidity with security. Every year millions of travellers take this most widely-accepted and recognized travellers' cheque with them.
