Scholarship Winners Announced


We extend our congratulations to our five scholarship winners. The Bethlehem Teachers Federal Credit Union has granted a $500 scholarship to each of the following individuals:

  • Tina Beahm of Bethlehem, a Freedom High School Senior who will be attending Northampton Community College.
  • Kyle Miller of Catasauqua, a Catasauqua High School Senior who will be attending West Chester University.
  • Jonathan Nivar of Bethlehem, a Freedom High School Senior who will be attending Kutztown University.
  • Andrew Redding of Fountain Hill, a Bethlehem Catholic High School Senior who will be attending Penn State University.
  • Arria Washington of Bethlehem, a Freedom High School Senior who will be attending Maryland University.

Applications for the Scholarships were accepted from March 1, 2008 through April 15, 2008. The winners were chosen randomly from submitted applications that met the requirements.

Scholarship Requirements:

  • Applicant must be a member who is a high school senior
  • Applicant must complete a Scholarship Application which includes a written essay
  • Applicant must be accepted at an institution of higher learning and must provide proof of acceptance
