Routing Number & Account Number

Many banking transactions (such as ACH or making payments over the Internet) require the routing number of your bank and your account number.

BTFCU's Routing Number

Bethlehem Teachers Federal Credit Union's routing number is

231379490

This is the correct routing number. Please check the routing number printed on your checks to make sure that it is not an older number we used prior to 2001. Click here for more information.

Your Account Number

There are two numbers you can use as your account number when setting up an ACH or other mechanism which transfers funds to/from your Credit Union Accounts:

  • Your Member Number - This is a 9-digit number which appears on your blue membership card and in the top section of the monthly or quarterly statement you receive in the mail from BTFCU. This number can refer to any of your BTFCU accounts. Usually, when a bank or company asks for your account number, it will ask you to specify whether that account is savings or checking. These two pieces of information (along with the routing number) are usually sufficient to make sure the funds are deposited into or removed from the correct account.
  • Your Share Draft (Checking) ID - If the funds are to be taken from or deposited into your Share Draft (Checking) Account, you can also use a 10-digit number which appears at the bottom of your checks. The number begins with 0680 and is followed by a symbol and the number 44.
    • Do not include the 44 as part of the account number as this will cause an error when the transaction is attempted!
    • Since this number is in a machine readable format (called MICR encoding), it may be difficult to read. If you have a question, please call us at 610-691-0041.
