List of No-Fee ATMsBTFCU charges its members no fees for the first 8 withdrawals per month from Star (formerly MAC) and Plus machines. However, you may be assessed a service charge by the sponsoring bank at many ATMs. Check for signs on the ATM indicating that surcharges will be assessed. You should be warned about charges when you use the ATM, as well. We note with some sadness that the no-fee ATMs at Wal-Mart and Sam's Club stores are gone. The agreement between Wal-Mart and PSECU, a large credit union with many ATMs, has come to an end and the machines have been removed. On the other hand, here's some good news: You can use many ATMs--including those at most Wawa and Sheetz stores--without incurring a service charge. Note that a new Wawa with a no-fee ATM has opened only two blocks from the Credit Union on Easton Ave. in Bethlehem. Below, you will find a rather comprehensive (but not complete) list of no-fee ATMs. (Please note: This list was believed to be correct as of the date it was posted.
