SEG: American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley

Since 1881, people have turned to the American Red Cross for emergency services. Today, there are more than 1.2 million trained and dedicated American Red Cross volunteers nationwide helping their neighbors every day. Though the Red Cross offers many services, the organization is known for its response to disaster. Locally, the Red Cross is located on 2200 Avenue A, Bethlehem, PA. They have been part of the Credit Union’s field of membership since 1999.

The Mission of the American Red Cross

The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization, led by volunteers, and guided by its congressional charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.
